Waste Food Depacker is a hammer mill type system specially configured for shredding, separating and reducing the size of packaged food waste so it can be used effectively in aerobic as well as anaerobic digestion facilities, such as biogas plants. This provides an excellent alternative to landfill solutions, with the packaging material removed for incineration or other suitable disposal.


Birth of an Idea

In Pharmaceutical industry the filled blisters and foils are scrapped and burned off as contaminated waste. A need arise to separate the medicine powder form the aluminum blisters and foils to unlock the recycling value.

Being leader in pharma scrap management sector Amey Engineers identified this pain area and developed a system consisting of the first paddle separator design. The system achieved nearly 99% cleaning efficiency of the blisters and foils thus the design evolved
